I like this forum and the idea behind it...however

You really should have moderator's who are qualified to give advise to those who post here in a general sense at the very least.

Having been bombarded by the TV Commericials with regards to Serzone...I posted several days ago, hoping to be given an idea on what I should do...but alas, there was no definitive response....I suppose you could post a disclaimer that states it is NOT LEGAL advise...as legal advise I would prefer NOT to receive on a public forum...but at the very least a suggestion as to what should happen next....ie... contact our doctor, or contact a lawyer, or jump in a lake and hope for life support ( lol  lol  lol )....something.....  roll  All in all a very good concept you have going here...just needs some fine tuning I believe...... big_smile

You are correct.  I have been working on solutions to these issues.  I think I have solution(s) but they will take a little time to implement.  Some will be faster than others - stay tuned   wink

Re: I like this forum and the idea behind it...however

I would like to hear from anyone who has a bad reaction to heprin. I can't believe my husband is the first. He lost his right arm and right leg and had to have an ilestomy because of it. So far we have had no relief because of it. I stumble along everyday trying to find my next step. Would love to hear any suggestions as how to just keep going.

Re: I like this forum and the idea behind it...however

I agree, and I have 2 suggestions, (make that 3).  First, yes we do need someone to answer our questions and help us around this site.  (I'm still looking to find the polls!)  And Mr. Parker and his staff has to be too busy to keep up!  They have done a wonderful job in putting this together.  I appreciate the information I have received from them....  Second, is there anyway you can eventually add "what the medication is really for"?

And last, is the help at this site volunteers only?  I have been looking for work on this computer for two years since I became ill, that's what I got it for!  I can only volunteer so much of my time, but do you need some help here?    big_smile (and I'm open for any other suggestions)  Thanks!

sad I still would like to hear from someone that had a bad reaction to heparin. I feel like there probably is not an answer for my husband and  his life has been destroyed just to put money in the pockets of drs, hospitals and the drug makers. I hope they get what they deserve in the next lifetime if not in this one.

Re: I like this forum and the idea behind it...however

Fay, I have no answers for you, I'm sorry.  I only wanted to ask if you have contacted these attorneys to see if they know?  Be sure to go to the part "to see if you have a case".  I also suggest you list your topic somewhere other than "suggestion box" forum, like "other medications", or "medical malpractice" so maybe others may view it more often.  Don't just stop here.  Keep trying!  Go to other forums!  Also, did you place your question in a poll?  I hope you find your answers and get some advice, and pray for you and your husband.  Surely, the right Attorney will come along to serve you justice!  Don't give up!   smile
Also, I could be wrong, but I thought I saw topics or posts in other forums on this, maybe under something else.  Scroll through all that you can to search.  Good Luck!
