oxycontin has devistated my moms life.She has been takeing 40mg oxys three times a day for four years,she has arthritus in her hips and could helped by a hip replacement but her docter would rather push her aside and pump her full of this horrible medication.Just recently she lost her whole bottle of oxycontin and began going through sever withdrawls,it was 102 degrees and she freezing cold she had bad muscle spasms and could'nt sleep.Her docter perscribed some vicodin,like that would help.She talked to a nurse that told her it's all in her head and that she needs to get a grip,I was infeariated and my mom was in tears.her docter finaly refiled another bottle,this cant go on there has to be a nother answer,I am at my whits end.
