My son was 5 months old during the incident and weighed in at approxamitely 14 lbs. My 16 month old daughter weiged about 25 lbs. during the injury. I tripped over her doll one day in the living room and my fist hit him in the ribs causing him a few fractured ribs but he is doing much better now. Doctors have found multiple bruises to his back, ribs and butt. He also had a little bit of liver trauma. He has about a 4 in. scratch from his neck and into his ear.
My daughter has long nails that we try to cut every week or so. My point is; can my daughter be able to do such a thing by sitting on him and bouncing up and down off of his abdomen? I have seen her do it before and we are in some mix up with social services cause of this. But the doctors or the social workers won't believe us and they are pointing fingers behind our backs. They are trying to take our kids away and we must overturn this petition on Monday. We need help bad and we don't wanna lose our children. All this is taking place at Duke University Hospital; the same place that had botched an organ transplant 1 year ago. I believe that the doctors arent telling us everything and we know for sure that no one or us has ever layed an intentional hand on our kids. If anyone can help us with this we will be very thankful. You really can't blame the authorities for what they see.. i worked with preschoolers for 10 years and this is what we find all the time and of course it has to be reported..
I am not saying that it is your fault, but what i am saying is that maybe you should talk to a legal advisor and see what he or she recommends..
Good Luck and keep us updated! ![]()
