Re: oxcontin

Have you tried Advinza. It's morphine with sulfate in it so if you are allergic to sulfur do not take.  I'm on 480mg of Advinza, plus 1200 neurontin and it has helped some.  I have Ankylosing Spondylitis severely along with Sjorgen's Disease, both are Rheumatoid diseases.  I also have fibromyalgia, osteo arthritis, and spinal stenosis. Most of my discs have lost all of the "gel" in between in my spine and neck.  I am now having bowel and kidney problems which seem to be leading into paralysis. My father had this and he also became paralyzed.  He was in his late 60's early 70's.  I am now 51, but was diagnosed at age 39.   I'll certainly be praying that God will lead your physician to the right meds to prescribe. However, if they are NIADS (I think is how you say it LOL!) DO NOT TAKE ANY OVER THE COUNTER MEDS LIKE BUFFERIN, ADVIL, ASPERIN, ETC. WITH THEM.....VERY HARMFUL.....CAN CAUSE STROKE, HEART DISEASE.  My physician is very understanding and compassionate.  She also explains everything in depth.  I am on 22 meds a day.  Without one I couldn't take a step.  I'm mostly in the wheel chair but can walk very little around the house.  I'll be praying for you to have relief of pain if only for a few hours.

God bless and keep you safe,
Shaorn

May you have a blessed day!

Re: oxcontin

I have a very bad case of fibromyalgia, and have been on every drug known to man , vicdon , oxycontion, ect. now they have me on fentanyl but the one thing I want to tell you fms pts. I found from several friends that they have been taking dead sea salt baths and I thought oh how silly but at this point I would try anything so I searched the web and found a site that sells it quite cheep so I bought 40 pounds of the stuff .. I put two cups in my bath and with in 20 seconds all my pain was gone and lasted for at least 6 hours. so I urge anyone that has cronic pain of any sort give this a try I know ill be using it for life. if anyone wants the site where I buy it just give me a jingle but there are lots of sites out there but I do belive I have found the least expensive .. well heck here is the site
http://www.bathsalts4u.com/  let me know if it helps you
