celebrex & kidney failure

I recently developed acute interstitial nephritis from taking a couple of doses of celebrex. I have recovered but have 50% kidney function as a result. Any one else know about COX-2 and kidney disease?

Re: celebrex & kidney failure

I am very curious about learning more on this. My mom takes celebrex and the past 2 years has had many kidney problems. Mostly kidney infections along with blood tests that show beginning stage to middle stage kidney failure.
Anyone with more on this, please post it. Thanks
