Celebrex and Pancreatitis

I have been taking Celebrex for four to five years.  Since early this year I started having some abdominal pain.  In March 04, the pain was so bad one night I had to go to the ER.  After many tests and cat scans, I was diagonised with Acute Pancreatitis.

After some research on the internet, I found an article from the JAMA that links Celebrex as a "potential" cause to Pancreatitis.  Aslo, I have recently discovered through conversations with two other people who have taken Celebrex for a number of years have also been diagonised with Pancreatitis.

Please relpy if this relates to you or if you have information about Celebrex and Pancreatitis.  Thanks.

Re: Celebrex and Pancreatitis

I have been on celebrex since it came out.  After 26 months of taking it I had a AMI (heart attack) - two stents.  Two weeks ago I had to have my gall bladder removed due to abdominal pain!
