Neurontin, which is known generically as Gabapentin, may be linked to suicide and suicide attempts. Neurontin is prescribed for epilepsy but has been prescribed for numerous off label uses. Neurontin was approved for sale in the mid-1990s as a treatment for epileptic seizures. However, it is believed that approximately 80 percent of all Neurontin prescriptions were filled for unapproved medical conditions.

If you or a loved one was injured by Neurontin, please complete the free case inquiry form on the right side of this page.

Re: just filled my prescription today

well im a worker in the medical field. certified nursing assistant for 28 years. i dont know what your diagnosis is but i tried it for a work related injury and i know others that have. it was scary for me. the strangest drug i have ever taken. i hated it. i wasnt myself mentally at all. they say it takes at least 2 weeks to get to peak performance. a week wont do it. if you decide to stop it takes a while for it to get out of your system and for your mind to return to normal. thats if you dont forget what the hell normal was. i was told you can take up to 3 a day. i made it to 2. that was enough for me. i wish you luck. i have heard some people can take it and do ok but the majority do not like it at all.
