Pedestrian struck by car. What is it worth?

Pedestrian struck in crosswalk.  4 months of physical therapy, torn medial cruciate ligament. Off work 8 weeks. Lost wages after no fault compensation thus far is over $8,000, ongoing loss of income from job change $1,500 per month for minimum of one year.  Change of career path, etc.  Pain and suffering ongoing.

Any ballpark?

I'm thinking around $50,000 to $60,000.  Is this practicle?

Thanks!

Re: Pedestrian struck by car. What is it worth?

Depends on the policy limits of the driver who hit you.  Before you can accurately evaluate a claim you have to know the potential exposure of the tortfeasor.
