I sprained my ankle and my doctor gave me some samples of Mobic to take for the inflammation. I've never heard of this drug so I went online to read up about it. I found some pretty disturbing information, but nothing any different from any of the other prescription or non prescription drugs on the market today. Can anyone shed some light about this product? Thanks so much.
Hi - I have recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and have been prescribed Mobic - 15 mg. per day, along with another drug. I've been on Mobic for about 2 months and I think it has helped with pain and inflammation. I have had no side effects so far. I wouldn't worry about using it for your short-term problem. By this time, your ankle sprain must be better! I just joined this Board and am probably too late to be of any help to you... but just thought I'd answer your post anyway!
