Recently my friend developed most of the serious side effects from Remicade. Had was in the hospital with a headache for one week and Drs were unable to figure out what was wrong. He had 4 MRIs done in that week. On the 5th MRI they diagnosed him with a blood clot in his brain. They also think he had a stroke, as his speech was confusing and his leg became numb.
Now he is home from that hospital, and away from those Drs. They wouldn't listen to him when he told them he thought it was due to the Remicade.
At home he is doing better than he was in the hospital. His speech is clear. His leg is not numb. He still gets very weak from doing the simplest tasks. His coordination is improving every day. He still has headaches. He has been going to a Neurological Institute.
He was taking Remicade for Crohn's Disease. All this began after he started taking it.
He is currently on antibiotics and blood thinners. And pain medication.
Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them while on Remicade?

I just read your message and I wanted to share with you about my experience with Remicade. I received 3 infusions of remicade and I started getting these monster migraine headaches. I just had a CT Scan and is normal. Thank God. I want to mention that after the 2 infusion I was not the same person. I stared getting very edgy and and waking up with headaches. Then the headaches converted to these migraines. I told the doctor NO MORE REMICADE. I know it is from this so called treatment for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. that I have had these monster migraines for a week or so. Now I am trying to get off the pain killer, Forinal...as I was warned that I will get the "rebound headaches" afterwards. I am wondering if someone else has experience these sypmtoms ?
