I read a message last night about Premarin being related to LUPUS and Ovarian Cancer among other things. I don't know how to find that information again since I'm new. I was on Premarin for several years until I could no longer stand the headaches I was getting. I am also being treated for Fibromyalgia and Possible Lupus, hypertension, Narcolepsy with cataplexy, syncope, depression and have to go into surgery for possible ovarian cancer on 12/20/06. Can someone let me know more about what this drug has possibly done to me. I have been a mess the last few years. I've had seizures at night, TIA's, right sided paralysis, slurred speech, passing out, difficulty breathing and asthma, periphial neuropathy, tingling and shooting pains in my legs and arms, severe migraines, depression and generally feeling very weak and tired. So far I've had my gallbladder removed, they are treating me with Prednisone, Plaquenil, Diovan/HCT, Mobic, Darvocet, Klonopin, Singular, Nexium, Robuxin and use a CPAP machine at night. I am only a 52year old female and feeling very old before my time. I did have trouble taking birth control pills when I was younger and I told my doctors this but they insisted the Premarin would make me feel better. I don't ever remember feeling better. Now many of my relatives, including my own children are having alot of the same problems, as I have. I think, from my experience, that birth control pills and HRT's are the cause of many of the diseases we all now suffer. They should be banned or outlawed for the damage they do. Hopefully I make it through the operation without stroking out, having a heart attack or ending up with my ovaraies, part of my bowel, part of my stomach removed and a colostomy bag added. I am not looking forward to this. Has anyone else experienced these problems?
