cancer due to prempro (michigan)

My wife was taking prempro, causing breast cancer, we are considering legal action however because we live in michigan we may not have that option, we are told that weyth Lab. is protected. I would like to hear from anyone in michigan that is also considering legal action regarding prempro produced by Weyth Lab.
