Accutane, intended indicated for the treatment of severe, recalcitrant, nodular acne, has been linked with several serious side effects, including serious birth defects and suicide. Accutane, or Isotretinoin, is a retinoid that is related to retinoic acid and retinol, or Vitamin A. Isotretinoin inhibits sebaceous gland function and keratinization. Accutane treatment for 15 to 20 weeks results in complete and prolonged remission of acne is most patients. Sometimes, a second course of treatment is needed.

In addition to birth defects and suicide, Parker Waichman Alonso Mark LLP is investigating Accutane cases involving inflammatory bowel disease, crohn’s disease, colitis, loss of vision, loss of hearing and growth disc problems. If you or a loved one has been injured by Accuntane please complete the case inquiry form on the right side of this page for a free evaluation.

accutane

I have just started taking accutane (40 mg a day) and I am just beginning week two.  So far I have had no side effects to report that aren't what I have expected.  I have slightly dry lips and that's about it.  However, just yesterday I developed these tiny bumps under my skin on both cheeks of my face and around the cheeks.  They are kind of itchy and I have been applying hydrocortizone cream 1% to my face in that area.  It has not helped that much and I am concerned that this is not a normal side effect.  Also, there was no acne in these areas of my face so it is not as if the acne in those places has worsended.  The skin in that area of my face is now filled with teeny bumps that aren't visible and is itchy.  If anyone has any feedback or has experienced the same thing please respond.  I am very concerned.  Will this go away?  Is it normal?  Should I stop taking accutane?  I started taking this medication because of acne around my mouth and on my chin that I have had for a year and I have tried everything from antiobiotics to topical creams and nothing workd.  Finally my derm said that accutane was the way to go.  Other than that area I have clear skin.  Please respond if you have any information that could help.  Thank you

Re: accutane

For oral dosage form (capsules):
For acne:
Adults and teenagers—Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor. The usual dose is 0.5 to 1 milligram (mg) per kilogram (kg) (0.23 to 0.45 mg per pound) of body weight a day. It is recommended that the dose per day be divided and not taken all at one time. For adult patients with severe acne, dosage adjustments may be needed and must be determined by your doctor.

Re: accutane

I bought accutane in this site

http://drugstorehouse.enjoymeds.com/

It the popular Indian drugstore. Online support.

I heard, that for a fake of medicines in India a death penalty. I think to buy in the site most safe. By the way tablets help has already made the repeated order here. Good service.
