Metabolife 356 Ephedra Ma Huang

I was referred to your law firm from Levin, Papantonio, Thomas, Mitchell, Echsner, and Proctor.   After reviewing my case, they suggested I contact you.  Could you please respond to this.

I took Metabolife 356 for 2 1/2 years and since March 1999 I have been in ICU three times and had multiple tests run.  My thyroid is uncontrollable and my nervous system is damaged.  I did not have a heart attack or stroke, but I suffer from hypertension and my EKGs noted that I have considerable changes.  I had a heart catherization done, but the only damage was that I have extremely small arteries.  I seem to have permanent damage from taking the Metabolife.  My doctors are trying to get me an appointment at Emory in Atlanta for further testing.

If you or anyone knows of an attorney that will consider representing me in my case against Metabolife, please forward information.

Thanks.

Re: Metabolife 356 Ephedra Ma Huang

Dear Bebe,
You don't mention your age or your medical history in your original post.  In addition, any family history would be helpful.

Why were you taking Metabolife for 2 1/2 years?
How much did you take daily?
Did you experience weight loss during the 2 1/2 year period?
Did you exercise and/or modify your diet during those 2 1/2 years?
What was your weight before using the product and what is your weight today?
Any other medical conditions you have diagnosed prior to taking the product?

Sincerely,
Michelelebelle
