Has anyone experienced tooth pain or abcess after receiving Remicade for rheumatoid arthritis? My mom had received Remicade for several months when she began have tooth problems.
She has just recently had part of her colon surgically removed because of diverticulitis.
All of these problems have a taken a toll on her physically and emotionally.

Hello, I can only tell you that after several months on remicade I developed seizures that were found to be caused by a sizable abcess in my brain. I've been told that brain abcesses are usually caused by an abcessed tooth or that they sometimes originate from the lungs. I've now had several surgeries for the brain abcess and am being sent to a dentist to check for possible problems. Please push for your mother and don't let things get beyond your control. God Bless
