I agree with you! The side-effects might be dangerous! The med. can deprive you from sleep for a long time. Others might be sleepy of the drug. I think it is strange that medicins are used instead of a social network or a good talk with a trusted therapist. A crises is a kind of break through, and it carries possibilities. Is the pressure around a person too heavy, everybody can crack into psycosis. In Sweden and Norway psycotic behavior is studied, and they found out that a safe environment with friendly caring in an institution or a social strong network around the person in a local community worked better than drugs. The healthauthorities in Norway did not exapt the studies because they threathened the drug industri. The result of the two projects, one in Sweden, and the other in Northern- Norway, is that the families of psychiatrik patiants and the users themselves have awakened. People has been critical and claimes that drugs does not replase people in treatment and many workes for banning a great part of the biological psycriatry because they don`t know the real causes of disorders. It is mostly guesswork without any scientific evidense 8)

Abilify became legitimate in Norway the 2d of July this year. I wrote an article about this drug on my internetplaze, and the Council for Side-effects controlled by doctors tried to make me take the article away. They didn`t succeed in that.
A person taking Abilify became deprived of sleep for one week on the drug. She became aggressive and got akatisi/tremor after 8 days on the drug. I wonder how such an agency can be given to a human being. The person told me she was sent to a night leave from the hospital after five days on the drug. When she returned to hospital, the staff there accused her to have taken drugs or be drinking alcohol while she was at home. She became desperate and got an aggressive outburst. The doctor belived her, and the drug was stopped. She had bad pains all over her body. She also said she got medisin-sideeffects, and nobody bothered to talk with her about the circumstanses which brought her to hospital, which could provide drugs, food and a bed in a closed ward.
I get many stories from people admitted to psyciatry. I meen agencies like Abilify should be banned together with great parts of psyciatric practise because such an authoritarian sistem doesn`match with democratic values. Psycriatry is blind according to the sosial problems people have before admittanse, and it doesn`t see people in a social context. Psyciatry is authoritarian and depriving on the individul, and reccless use of drug makes it dangerous.
