I have suffered for migraines for years, and this medicine is the ONLY thing that works for me. It is almost instantaneous and the relief is wonderful. I just have to make sure I am lying down, because it makes me nauseous if not. Is this addictive? It doesn't strike me that way, it doesn't give any euphoric feeling, just sleepy (to me) Thanks!
Stadol nasal offered me relief so that I could keep my job, but the additive qualities took away almost everything I had. I now cannot work, and lost about 2 years of my children's lives. I know the pain of migraines, but keep looking for something, don't settle for Stadol.
What changed about Stadol from April to October? In April it wasn't addictive to you then by October it was a problem. I've been taking it exactly as my doctor (who is wonderful and micro-manages my medication)prescribes it or else I'm told to go to the ER. I really don't understand how anyone would enjoy taking it because it is really terribly rotten tasting. I wouldn't want to take it except for severe pain and then I take mints galore. Please responde and make me understand the addictiveness of this nose spray.

Re: Stadol.
At first i thought stadol was the answer for my severe and frequent migraines. I became addicted to stadol in early 90's before it was classified as addictive and continued on it 24/7 for 10 years. I have been clean now and a member of Narcotics Anonymous for over 2 years but still am unable to be productive. I live with my parents at 47 yo. I have an 11 y o daughter I cannot provide for. Up until 1999 I was working making over 80K per year; had my own beautiful homes from my early 20's; etc.
I am ruined from this Stadol.
