Just a short note. My wife and I were both referred to a Pain Doctor for Migraine headaches. Over the course of two or so years I was receiving each month the following drugs.
Oxycontin 40mg, 120 pills
Oxycontin 20mg 240 pills
Actiq 1200mcg 120 units
Vallium 10mg 120 pills
Fiorecet 180 pills
Effexor XR 150mg 35 capsules
Ritalin 25mg 50 tablets
Concerta 36mg 35 caplets
Propranolol 10mg 50 tablets
and a few more that I can't even remember. My poor wife was prescribed even greater amounts, hers is another tale.
Is this good medicine? It left me and addict and destitute, and after six months clean, with much less severe headaches than I suffered under his care. Is this good and proper treatment by the local standards of proper and adequate care?
I think not!

Hi The Jeweler51! I'm no doctor but I think you found the "CANDYMAN DR. OF ORLANDO"! I hope you weren't taking all these drugs at the same time! I divided them by 30 each to see how much you were taking. It's a wonder you are even walking! I'd check into w/ an attorney. I used to have a great website on my old computer before it crashed and burned.
called the Questionable Dr.s website. I looked in a file, and their website is not there, so I do need to find it anyhow and I'll get back to you. It's a great website cause you click on your state and & go from there. Skooze

Sorry I got lost on the site. It's changed since I was last on it.
www.questionablecoctors.org no longer exists. It is being redirected to
www.citizen.org. It's a great site still and lists best pills/ worse pills and you can check by state which Dr's have had disciplinary actions or licenses revoked. A real eye-opener.
Good luck--Skooze

Dear Skooze:
Thank you for the link. It is very informative.
Yes, I was taking all these drugs daily, so it is little wonder that my life went down the toilet. The "Pain doctor" is also a self acclaimed forensic psychologist and, at one time or another, met with just about every major law firm in central Florida. Consequently, most firms will not entertain the idea of suing him because of potential conflict of interests.
He is as cunning as he is unscrupulous. His waiting rooms are standing room only with patients all waiting for their monthly scrips. It is sad what he did to my wife and I, but criminal that he continues to do it to so may other people on an ongoing daily basis unscathed.
Again thank you and take care.

Hi Jeweler51! Yes he sounds like a crooked doctor who ruined you and your wives lives and health! I'd be very angry  Why not writing to your local newspaper in the editorials warning others about this crooked doctor, not naming his name though. You could try printing it the way you just wrote here to warn others. Send it to the editorial section of your paper, but leave out the part of the forensic, because you could have his attorney pull out their big guns. Just call him the candyman or pain specialist. And try filing on the above site.
Good luck, and let us know how it turns out. Aloha Skooze
