vioxx user for 3 yr-what test can be done to detect problems

I have taken vioxx for about 3 years. During this time I have had problems with my blood pressure. Last year I was on blood pressure medicine but was taken off and can control it with fluid pill(diretics). The doctor never said it could be a side effect of vioxx.  What test can I request to prove vioxx caused it??
