i'm mrarn.  i'm 43.  i have hemophilia (a bleeding disorder).  i started celebrex in october 2001 and took it for 2.5 years.  i took 200mg bid.  i started the drug in good faith because of the "benefits" of reducing the chance of bleeding ulcers and the decreased effect on messing with blood clotting.  i first noticed problems before my hip replacement, but after the replacement the fun began.  in may 04 i had severe palpitations that caused chest pain- i went to the er for evaluation.  now i have had 24 hour halter monitoring, echocardiograms, ekg's, lab tests and stress tests done.  i still have palpitations and chest pain.  i'm afraid to exercise because of the palpitations and the fear of having a cardiac arrest in the gym.  this isn't fun, living in fear, wondering if i'll have a heart attack like i've read that some of you have had.
