Took Vioxx for almost 5 years - now what?

Hi - about 6 months after starting Vioxx, I started having bad problems with high blood pressure, palpitations, chest pains, tingling on left side of face, etc, etc - I never associated it with Vioxx, because it was wonderful for my arthritis pains - it was the best thing I had tried - I've had all kinds of tests on my heart, lungs, and brain - the closest I got was possible TIA and some heart problems - but even with several bp meds, I still can't seem to get my bp under control - I have talked to one lawyer, but because I hadn't had a 'definite' stroke or heart attach, they're not interested in me - are there lawyers out there who would consider someone with my health situation - or if I have a stroke next year, will that be too late to get in on the lawsuit?

Maybe Mr. Parker can answer this one.

Re: Took Vioxx for almost 5 years - now what?

for approximately 14 months and although I did not experience a heart attack or stroke I have accelerated heart rate(whatever the med term is) and I experience about a thousand palputations a day.  Some lawyers took their time getting back to me.  But I found one in St. Louis that will answer me personally everytime I email him.  And he makes sure I understand what it is he is doing.  He answers me the same day I email him.
