My son was dx with pdd/nos. When they do the genetic and urine test do they also do mercury? Should I call and ask them to have one done? He is doing so good now but he wont be able to go to kindergarten next year because he is too far behind.

we tested my son last yr at 6 yrs old he tested positive for mercury at a levle of 4ugls high enough to do brain damage his diagnosis is Pddnos / OCD / SEVER GLOBAL (LIMB) Apraixa but was orignaly dxed as moderate autism i might add Limb apraxia is a direct symptom of mercury poisning

I just had some more testing done and I am awaiting the results I will however call his dr monday and have them set up a mercury test.

be presistant with your ped mine argued with me about doing the test and oh how it would come out of my pocket to test because the insrance wouldnt cover it because he didnt deam it nessarsy and i flat told him DO THE TEST I LL PAY FOR IT OUT OF POCKET he said even if he was exposed as a baby it wouldnt show up now well guess what HE WAS WRONG the CDC says 5 ugls is there serious danger level and he tests at 4 still high enough to do damage

best of luck to you and your son! I am really trying the best here as well I have learned that go with your gut feeling because the dr. Just dismiss you!

My Sons ped prety much laughs about this vaccine Autism Conection Cody is Medicaly exempt from further vaccines because our Nuro exempted him and the 1st thing the Ped said when he went thru his records is YOU KNOW THATS NOT WHAT CAUSES IT RIGHT i looked at him and said you DONT KNOW THATS NOT WHAT CAUSES IT SO HOW BOUT WE JUST AGREE TO DISAGREE i wish you luck in getting your doc to work with you mine will at least do what i say if i pay out of pocket for it recently i ordered him a copy of David Kirbys Book Evidence of Harm i cant wait to get it and give it to him with a note at least read this be4 you tell me i dont know what i am talking about

If your dr has a child and he was dx with autisim i bet he would look in to every option. You may want to switch to a more sympathetic dr. Mine was very setback at first but then after I took him to the specialist he say if you need any help let me know . good luck with cody and you hand in there as well

Our nuro is smpathetic he actually told us to file for the vaccine injury fund as he feels the MMR is responsible too but i told him i didnt think we could do that because of this law suit but he listed in Codys medical records most likely caused after resieving his MMR because thats when he stopped speaking our reg ped i cant change cause its an HMO but he refuses to see me now anyway because of our disagreements on vaccines he always gives us to the other Doc in his office who will at least listen to me and take my feelings into concideration lol i bought both my reg ped and the other doc we see in his office the book evidence of Harm i cant wait to get them to give it to them so i can say read this and then if you still think i am nuts fine
