Neurontin, which is known generically as Gabapentin, may be linked to suicide and suicide attempts. Neurontin is prescribed for epilepsy but has been prescribed for numerous off label uses. Neurontin was approved for sale in the mid-1990s as a treatment for epileptic seizures. However, it is believed that approximately 80 percent of all Neurontin prescriptions were filled for unapproved medical conditions.

If you or a loved one was injured by Neurontin, please complete the free case inquiry form on the right side of this page.

neurotin

My husband has taken neutrotin for almost 3 years.  The side affects I have read he is having or has had.  I want him to know the side affects from taking this drug.  Being his wife I have noticed his changes and he just says its me and I am nagging him.  I do believe this drug has something to do with the way he acts and says things at in apporiate times.  He has tried to commit suicide 3 times.  Twice before we got married and 1 time after we got married.  It is very hard on the other spouse to go thru this but I am with him thru it all.  If anyone out there has a comment or concern please write me and let me know.  Thank You. :x
