Drugs for Osteoporosis

I was assured my "See through" bones would be restored to hard density by taking EVISTA.  I took that drug for 2 years with the dedication of a religious zealot.  A Medicare paid for bone scan after 2 years revealed my bones were WORSE!
I was then assured that FOSAMAX would be my wonder drug.  I took that with the same trusting dedication for 1 year and decided to pay for a bone scan myself rather than wait another year for Medicare to kick in.  My bones are now even WORSE!
Now I'm being told I need to stick a needle under my skin every day with a drug (FORTEO) that will MOST DEFINITELY cure my bones.  I have to do this for 19 months.
I'm moving upscale all right but only in cost - from $20 per week to $120 per week.
Risks and side effects also have a spectacular escalation. FORTEO, issued with an FDA Black Box warning, caused cancer in rats.
Isn't it time that these drug companies were called to account for the unreality of their flowery rhetoric?
