Questions about Ortho Evra patch lawsuits

Ever since I was on the Ortho Evra Patch I have had nothing but problems. I have had discharge that I can't get rid of, cyst on my ovaries, headaches, rashes and nausea. I am not on it now but I am still having problems  and now I am afraid to take any type of birth control. I have a few other friends that had the same problems and one has had more problems while be on the Ortho Evra patch. Do you think that I or we have a case? An yone else that has had the same problems please respond to this.

Re: Questions about Ortho Evra patch lawsuits

I am currently on the patch and those are the side affects that come with it. No law suit here honey. You have to get used to the patch first then the symptoms go away.

Re: Questions about Ortho Evra patch lawsuits

Yes, however, in the time it takes to "get used to" these effects, your chances of blood clots are three time higher than if you were on the pill. (that's not an exaggeration. That statistic is a proven fact)

I suggest that if you are having some side effects, serious or not according to you, get off of it. Your body is telling you something.  My body tried to tell me that I was having problems on the patch when I went through a small bout of insomnia when I first started taking it.  Less than 1 year later, I was sitting in a hospital bed with bipolar pulmonary embolisms and a collpased lung.

Just something to consider.
