My name is Chris and because of my confession of faith in Jesus Christ the Lord, my shrink declared I was psychotic and\or schizophrenic. No lie. This quack placed me on a "mood stabilizer" by the name of Abilify. Not only did this medication have me literally crawling in my own skin, but it gave me chills and high fever. When I contacted his office, Dr. Sam Salama-Lafayette,LA, to tell of my adverse reaction to this medication, he ordered that I continue taking it until my next visit. Upon subsequent visit, he removed me from Abilify and placed me on Risperdal. I only THOUGHT the feverful reaction was bad from Abilify! Between Trazidone approved by his office and Risperdal, I begin trembling out of control to the point that I could not hold a toothbrush in my hand. I lay in my bed with 4 layers of covers/comforters when the outside temperature was no less then 70 degrees F. I contacted Dr. Sam Salama's office in Lafayette, LA (337)233-2400 again and he demanded that I remain on this medication that had me VIOLENTLY ILL. He stated that the "side effects" would disappaid. WTF? When I refused to take this medication that had me almost in the ER, he suggested that I be committed in a mental institution! BTW..in addition to prescribing medication and intentional attempts to cause bodily harm through medication, Dr. Sam Salama revealed that he had discussed my counseling/case with my mother! I am 38 years old! This is called Doctor/Patient confidentiality and to violate such deems necessity for revokation of one's medical license!
