Re: side effects.

Hi, I am a mom in NJ who is in the same situation. My son is being forced to get the shots in order to finish his last year in high school. I am in the process of finding an attorney to help me with an exemption. You can find info on the shot at www.909shot.com Click on the Hepatitis B vaccine. There is a very informative article there. Good luck with everything.

Re: side effects.

I have been taking the Hep B vaccine, since November... I am NOW, having some medical problems which may be related to the vaccine itself..Ive recently, had many problems with my arhritis pain incresing and spreading to other joints, where it has never bothered me before. My MD did a "ANA level" ( blood test for antinuclear antibodies) and my results were POSITIVE with a reading of 1:360 ( "normal positive is 1:80), which *suggests* I may either have systemic lupus OR chronic active hepatitis and Im trying to find out NOW, if this vaccine could have caused this....This high ANA level could also be "drug induced systemic lupus" and if it is... It HAS to be from the vaccine because Ive NEVER been on routine medication, UNTIL my arthritis pain increased (all within the last month)....ALL my hepatitis titers have come back "zero" meaning, no immunity from contracting the disease, which had me puzzled too...I go see a specialist tomarrow (Rheumatologist) so maybe I will have some better understanding of what this could be, once I have a definite diagnosis....

Re: side effects.

Hi LisaLee ....I will post, whatever the MD tells me...I am compiling a list of questions for him now, for tomarrow... If he does other tests to "prove" this IS Hepatitis, then I have no doubt, the vaccine contributed to it... I am also a nurse, and yes, I do have patients with active Hepatitis as well, but I havent been exposed to any of their blood in any way either, so it is a mystery as to how I contracted it, IF NOT by the vaccine itself....

Re: side effects.

Ladies,
Ask your doctor for the package insert that he recieves with his Hepatitis B vaccine serum. I asked my doctor's office for one and it will shock you. Some of the adverse effects are listed as: Guillian-Barre Syndrome,Multiple sclerosis, febrile seizure, Bell's Plsey, migraine, muscle weakness, hairloss, encephalitis, arthritis, and many many more. This is a small percentage, but not as small as they would like you to think.

Re: side effects.

Hmmmmmm...Thanks for the tip... I did recieve a copy of the "release" I signed from my job (where I recieved the vaccine) and NOTHING is mentioned on any of these in that release.....I also spoke with the "Employee Health Nurse", who gave me the vaccine and she had no answers for questions and referred me to the pharmacist, who only said  "I doubt you have Lupus or Hepatitis, it's just probably arthritis"...

DUH ... I KNOW It is my arthritis already...BUT I also asked him specifically IF this Hepatitis B vaccine would CAUSE me to have a high or positive ANA level and he said he didnt know, and never even offered to give me the package insert..I will specifically ask him for one when I return to work on Thursday tho....

I also have a first cousin who this past December was diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome and ended up in ICU on a respirator for 2 weeks because of it....Now, Im looking into that possibility to see if it is hereditary and IF it will also cause a high positive ANA level...and I have a cousin who has some form of crippling arthritis that has caused her to be on disability MOST of her life ...Somehow, I get the feeling IF this vaccine didnt cause this in my case....something hereditary must have....

Im also contacting the CDC to see if anyone else has made this type of connection with my symptoms and this vaccine...The clinical trials I found online didnt say one word about testing the individuals specifically for  their ANA level, so how can they KNOW it didnt cause this IF they didnt test for it?....

Re: side effects.

Sweetdreams,
Not only does the package insert list these possible adverse reactions but it is also in the Physician's Desk Reference that you can read in the library. There is a website, i don't know if you are familiar with it, www.909shot. They have a very informative article called Hepatits B, The Untold Story. There are many personal stories, many that sound alot like yours. I think because it usually takes a few weeks or more before the side effects begin to show, people are not making the connection to the shots. And it also gives the doctors and the drug companies the opportunity to say there is no connection because of the time span. Too much of a coincidense for me. That is the whole reason no one is willing to sign a waiver or take responsiblity. I have read so much about this and have heard too many horror stories to let my son get this vaccine. There has to be a better and safer way to avoid this virus. Good luck with everything and remember, your doctor is required to give you ALL the information.

Re: side effects.

TY for the info... I do have a PDR, and I just havent had the chance to look it up in there yet... Some of those are so confusing to try to understand, I thought I might could find a simple explanation, on the web first...LOL ...NOT so simple to find if it is here....Just got in from seeing this new MD and he doesnt seem to think I have anything wrong with me roll ...He says my positive ANA could have been from my arthritis flaring up...EXCUSE ME...but I didnt find THAT diagnosis anywhere on the www associated with an abnormal ANA level...He X Rayed my hands and feet, and yep...arthritis is worse now in the feet, so this is the reason he gives for the abnormal ANA...I also gave him my record of having Hep B vaccine and the lab work drawn afterward showing ZERO response to the vaccine...He says I could be a "non responder" and he said I might need to take the Hep B vaccine series AGAIN...THEN I might have my lab showing where I have immunity from the disease....I dont think so....Being a non responder tells me I have some sort of auto immune disease and it has yet to diagnosed...He is re doing ALL the lab again and someone should call me in a few days with the results... I asked him about my other sysmptoms...numbness and tingling in my hands and feet, headaches, restless leg syndrome, joint pain (arthritis), hair loss, blurred vision, and the worst... chronic fatigue syndrome...He had the audacity to insult my intelligence by saying, I simply needed to loose weight, get that under control and the other symptoms would diminish...I think he needs to RETIRE...and when I get this lab work back, Im going looking for another MD, UNTIL I find one that will at least look into other possibilities like MS, or Fibromyalgia....I never knew being overweight would cause hair loss and blurred vision... roll

Re: side effects.

Sweetdreams,
Do not get another series of shots! Are they crazy! I just finished spending a couple of hours reading reaction cases. You must go to www.vaccinationnews.com There are stories after stories and they all sound like the exact symptoms that you have. Please go there and find the Hepatitis B vaccine testimonials. It is a must for you.

Re: side effects.

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and have been reading some ?'s. I would recommend not taking that Hep B vacc. I took it and my life has never been the same. I had a reaction and developed joint pain, skin rash, severe fatigue, thyroid removed, Lupus with High ANA, esophageal disorder, and the list goes on. I have also been involved with the vaccine compensation program. It is not at all what they tell you. They really rake you over the coals. Hope some of this helps if you have any ?'s please let me know

Re: side effects.

Hi, new here too and also one of the unfortunate who have had a bad reaction to the vaccine.  I know plenty of folks who have had it without incident, but in my case I had tender joints during the month after dose 1 (didn't draw the connection or I would have researched it and not done dose 2)--was unable to work out because, e.g., my shoulders would get sore before my muscles got any workout....  12 hours after dose 2 I couldn't walk; my fingers made crunching sounds when I tried to move them... for a week I was falling asleep at all hours of the day... limbs going numb or having zapping sensations when moved, tinitis, headaches... When I called the clinic where I got the vaccine and told them all this, they said "cold symptoms are normal".  The worst of it cleared up slowly over maybe 3 months, but the arthritic symptoms, limbs that easily fall asleep, and a few other things have not improved in the few years since, not the least of which is I am rarely not in pain of one sort or another despite having enjoyed essentially perfect health all my many years prior.  So I feel rather as if I went irreversably from age 30 to 80 in one foolish move.  Not a happy camper.  I hope some day someone puts the resources into figuring this one out, perhaps even being able to undo whatever faulty programming has been done to our (myself and those with similar reactions) immune systems.  Meanwhile, to the uninitiated: weigh the risks carefully, your whole life is at stake.

Re: side effects.

Hi Brandyn,
sorry to here of your reaction. I know exactly what your talking about. I also feel I have aged way beyond my time, there is not a day that goes by that I do not hurt. It has totally changed my life and not for the better. I can no longer enjoy the things I use to. I have been limited by this problem and it has without a doubt been due to that vaccine. I was so physically active before this shot and an hour after the injection my nightmare began. I have done exstensive research on this vaccine and its side effects and have many articles and doctor/scientist names that are looking into the reactions. Dr. Bonnie Dunbar is trying to develope something that may reverse the problem however it will be a long time. I think it is a shame that the government knows this reaction happens and they won't help those that have been injured, I don't know if you have contacted the vaccine injury program if not maybe you should . the government may at least look at your case and with a little luck you may be compensated for your injuries, it is a very hard and time consuming matter but it may be worth it in the long run. GOOD LUCK and GOOD HEALTH

Re: side effects.

Hi.  I have been sick for over 3 years....chronic fatigue, terrible headaches, dizziness, IBS, raised Epstein Barr levels, etc.   I have been to many, many doctors searching out a diagnosis....what I ended up with was a CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) diagnosis about 8 months ago from the Mayo Clinic.

Well, I found it hard to believe there was no cause/cure...I kept searching and recently found a doctor who diagnosed me as having an adverse reaction to the hepatitis B immunizations I received in college (1999/2000).  I was shocked when she told me how dangerous these and many more of the immunizations are.  I have been trying to get my hands on everything I can to learn more about what these vaccines are not only doing to adults, but to newborns and children....what I have found so far has been devastating.

Currently, my sister is beginning a technical medical program at a hospital in Iowa and they are forcing her to get these shots in order to be in the program...how can this be legal?  I have also become an aunt twice in the past few weeks and I'm trying to convince my brothers and their wives to not vaccinate their children....not only from hepatitis B, but many of the other vaccines out there being linked to SIDS, autism, developmental disabilities, etc.

Does anyone have a direction to point me in or information that may be helpful...I would appreciate it.  I have spent the early years of my life as an adult in pain and agony....and I will do everything I can to stop this from hurting anyone else!

Re: side effects.

wink Hi I am new and have been reading about the trouble you guys have been having. I had the vaccine back in 1985. I have some problems that relate but I think most of mine is due to a injury from a car accident in 1982 prior to the vaccine. I do however have some arthritic pain, and its weird my big toe on my right foot is completely numb.  I went to a neuro. specialist to check me out, he did not feel it was related or he could not see why, and gave me some vioox and sent me on my way. I dont take the vioxx because I have a heart murmur and it made me feel worse. I can understand the numbness in my fingers and pain in my neck etc. but of all things my big toe. Most of my pain is in 3 and 4 upper torso and my fingers stay numb on both hands the last two fingers on each hand. I cant grip things or hold on I will just drop things and it looks like I threw them. I had numerous x-rays done and he wanted a blood level done for Rheumatory arthritis.  I just never went back, it was in Birmingham an hour away, and I had to go from building to building to have the blood work and the x-rays done.  My mom thinks I need to file for disability. I was a hygienist for 14 yrs, and that just irritated the nerves. I don't know what to do. Thank you Angel wink

Re: side effects.

I see they haven't improved the vaccine. I got my last series of shots over 10 yrs. ago and suffered typical symptoms of chronic fatigue and nearly lost my job as well. I am a type 1 diabetic so my other symptoms were also symptoms common for diabetics so no one would listen to me.
My sister is a nurse and she brought an article showing that they knew
this would happen to some but the percent is still so small that it is within their guidelines for being allowable to give to the majorityof people for the benefits. I tended to disagree with that but who am I with one small voice and no one who wishes to listen to my plight.

I did research my vitamins though and found that Sunrider is the number one whole food concentrate and it did help out lots. Usana is the number one vitamin/mineral as judged by Lyle McWilliam an MP in BC, Canada who conducted research on vitamins/minerals and has listed the top 400 sold in the US and Canada. He did this for our Federal Minister of Health.
It is also well worth it. I have seen more miracles with these two than with any other ones. My friend recovered use of her kidneys and  eyesight after being blind for 2 yrs. She is also a type 1 diabetic. My brother recovered his vision in one eye after docs had given
up on his tunnel vision blindness. I also recovered by health and kidneys so it can be done.

I believe the body has the power to heal itself if given the right nutrients to regenerate healthier cells.  I have proven this by still being alive while forced to use insulins that didn't work for me for over 4 yrs. when the human insulins came on the market. Everytime I layed down my bgs went to 400 mg/dl and my windpipe collapsed.
I finally got Eli Lily to tell me that they were in the process at the time of making an insulin that would work for me and I'd have to stay alive another year till it was ready for market. They made Humalog (gag).
It did work but I was so adversely affected by it that I became a couch potatoe and nearly lost my job again. I gained 20 lbs of fluid in all my body tissues. I am a survivor and have learned how to regain my health.

Good luck in your struggle with the adverse affects of vaccines. I know it took a long time to recover but I did recover with some well researched
out help.
