deposition

I gave a deposition while taking several prescription drugs,
one neurontin - 3600 mg daily, and others for pain, muscle relaxers, depression......  Some of my answers on the deposition are not right and after reading the posts here concerning the side effects of neurontin I know why - is there anything I can do?

Re: deposition

Did they ask you if you were taking any drugs that would affect your memory at the start of the depo?

Re: deposition

Yes they did and I said I did not know - I could only do my best - they also asked for a list of all the meds I was taking.

The day before by depositon I saw my surgeon for a follow-up.  He refused to treat me any further until I got help for my severe depression - after reading the post here I now think that was caused by the neurontin.

Re: deposition

Well, depression can cause short-term memory loss as you probably know. If your attorney is any good he or she should be able to establish that you were under medication and/or has a condition that affected your memory.

Re: deposition

Thank you for taking the time to answer me.
My daughters and I were going through some
of my paperwork and when they read the depositon
they were wondering why a very important fact
was missing - I am not exactly sure why it was
not mentioned - my oldest daughter was witness to
the fact and we found a letter from a friend who was
present and heard the statement my surgeon made.
