OMG!!!! Maybe it will happen before I die!

Tex break it down for us I can't understand all that legal jargon gee, I like to have flipped when I seen it today.

It is 125 pages long, and addresses multiple attorney fee/expense applications and objections. CC fee is 6.4%. I have it in pdf. Send me your email address and I will email to you.
Offline
So they are getting all this plus the 7% from us?
Offline
it is complicated and appears to address several fee applications of not only class counsel, but also the plaintiffs management committee and others, as well as expense reimbursements. The judge ruled the class counsel fee deducted from our payments will be 6.4%, not 7%.
Offline
That means another .6% for us that might not sound like much but do your math.I am elated the wait is finally over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Offline
The way I understand the way the fees work is that Class counsel's fee comes out of the fee your attorney gets, not out of your part (unless you were not represented by an attorney). I could be wrong on this, but that is the way it was explained to me.

No, unfortunately I don't think it means an additional 0.6% for those of you with private attorneys. It means the attorneys will get to keep 0.6% more for themselves than they otherwise would have. The only claimants who are going to see any benefit from the reduction in the common benefit percentage are those claimants who are NOT represented by a private attorney...pro se people.
