I was prescribed Vioxx most recently for inflammation related to back surgery this past Dec. It's been prescribed to me in the past for joint pain as well. In the past I've had to discontinue taking it due to headache and nausea, as is the case this time as well. I'm looking for feed back on how long it takes for Vioxx to clear from the body. Also, if anyone has feed back on how long it takes for the latent nausea and headache to subside. If anyone else has experienced this, and to what severity.

I recently ran out of my script of vioxx and in less than 2 weeks the relief that it was providing was gone. I, too, take it for inflammation after back and neck surgeries and had about decided that I had reinjured myself due to the rising pain levels. Once I got back on the vioxx the pain returned to it's previous level.
