Liver enzynes

Last spring, I strated taking Sporanox for a fungal infection in my foot. Now, the doctor is going to keep taking blood work because a recent blood tests that I had showed elevated liver enzymes.  He never explained what this might mean.  Yesterday, my brother told me that he heard that sporanox causes liver problems.  Is this true?  Has anyone heard of this?

Re: Liver enzynes

Well.. my situation is same to you , i was takin this medicine from 1 april to 7 april then from 1 may to 7 may , 7 may ... it was the worst day in my life , the medicine has filled my body , and what for? , for something negligable in my foot that i was takin a medicine just for the way it looked like thats it , it effects the liver , but for me it didnt as i stopped it and i didnt finish the full course , i also think that because um Egyptian and my liver is used to break up alot of poisons from food and water so thats why i think i have survived , but maybe it could cause liver failure for others , i have taken 56 pills in two weeks !! , and its according to whats the doctor said , well i think i have suffered more from my nervous system , and all the chemistry of my body has been disturbed , its the third week after i stopped the medicine and i dont know when it will get fully out of my body , or if i will suvive or not ...
