i was going westbound on a 4 lane highway that 2 lanes are seperated by a grass median.anyhow,a eastbound car crossed the median and hit me near head on..it took them 2 and a half hours  to cut me out of the 2001 chevy venture i had.my  air bags did not deploy,and my head was stuck in the steering wheel.i was air lifted to a trauma unit in illinois.i was on life support for 3 days,i suffered from 3 broken ribs,a broken leg that an artery was damaged and i almost lost.a broken ankle, a broken jaw,and a basal skull fracture..the lady who hit me had alchohol in her system and taking meds.we are now in litigation,but we are waiting for experts to give me the thumbs up about the air bags not deploying,and i am going after GM for that.i wonder if anyone else has had an experience like this?any advice?
