Taken advantage of because of an auto acident

I wan involved in an automobile accident 6/21/98.  I had numerous surgeries and was heavily medicated during the time my case was settled out of court.  I do not feel I was in any condition to make good judgement during this time.  I did have an attorney but do not feel I was competent to agree to the terms that I agreed to.  I felt pressured because I had lost my home, automobile, job and had to file bankruptcy.  I was hospitalized for depression also during this time and was on much mind altering medication. The settlement was with Amica Ins.  I was not at fault.  I suffered back injury, and have plates. rods & screws in my cervical area.  Herniated disks in my lumbar area.  I had knee surgery, sciatic nerve surgery, fractured sternum and breast surgery for scar tissue.  The terms of settlement were that  Amica Ins. would set set up an annuity for me and I would draw $ 2500 per month tax free for 10 years.  Under the influnece of the drugs I was taking I can now see this was ludicrus for me to agree to this because it was instrumental in me losing everything I owned.  Last year (still under medication) I received calls from JG Wentworth to purchase my annuity and give me cash.  I was desperate for help for I did not have an automobile to even look for work or anything.  I agreed.  J G Wentworth purchased my annuity.  I received 145,000. I still had somewhere in the neighborhood of 275,000 coming to me during the nest nine years.  Their company received 100,000 of my annuity by doing this.  I can see now that I am no longer taking pain medication as much as I was back then that this was totally crazy for me to have agreed to this.  I even used their attorney that they recommened to me for this transaction.  I feel I ws taken advantage of and want to know if under the circumstances if I can do something about this.  Now Amica is sending my annuity checks each month to JG Wentworth.  Also after paying doctor bill that were not paid the 145,000 did not last long because I have continued to have physical problems as well as emotional problems from the acident.  I still do not have a job.  I have to lease a house because of my credit.   I feel I was taken advantage by their companyof at a time whaen I was not responsible for entering this transaction.  I continue to suffer from the accident and am still paying financially for it.
