Rear-Ended

I drive a Toyota Camry and was rear ended by an SUV that never braked. I had my grandchildren in the car. We were all take to hospital and released. Children are fine, I still have back and neck pain. The lady's insurance company is ready to settle. I already had medical problems (spinal stenosis & fibromyalgia) before accident. What type settlement should I be getting?

Re: Rear-Ended

Hi....sorry to hear about your accident.  My son was also back-ended.  I was told that standard is 3 x the amount of your medical bills (that would be in addition to the insurance paying for actual bills).  Pls let me know what you received as my son has not settled yet.  Thank you!
