I had an accident two months ago, one month later I had an interview with someone from my insurance to collect all the information about the accident and for the benefits. A week go somebody call me at home saying tha the works for my insurance and he need to collect some information. He wants to come to my home because of all my injuries it will be more comfortable fo r me. I say yes, my after I consult with my husband , he wasn't agree that he be in our home. Any way when I meet with him, he want I fill out some papers, and I explained to him tha tthis information he can get it form the other person that I had the interview one month ago. He explained that he can't get the information from him because he works with the benefit and he is in charge about lawsuits. He wrote with his writing hand that I authorize to release tha tinformation to him. Finally I signed, but my husband wasn't happy with him, so he asked to give the note and to write with my hand. The guy was trying to change the conversation and he hiding the paper in the file. I seconds, my husband took it and told me I don't like this guy. At first the guy was very polite and after my husband took the paper and say to him I won't give you and don't trust you, the guy jump very aggressive and started swearing us with bad words and threatening us that we won't get paid any benefits from the insurance. But the problem is that I am not sure if this person is from my insurance or investigator from the other insurance involve in the accident.
Because of this incident, my blood pressure went up, my hard was pumping very fast, my body was shaking because he was very angry with my husband and he wants to get the paper I signed from my husband.
Any way, I am very upset about this problem and his offense. What I should do it? I should compliant to my insurance and ask for an apologize, or just wait?

sorry to hear about your experience..... in the first place you should of not
signed nothing before reading carefully sometimes companies try and have
you sign things to remove them from any liability insurance companies are very
very tricky... what you should do is call your insurance company and ask if they
indeed sent someone out to your home... that is very unlikely that insurance
companies do that what insurances do is usually make a recorded statement
of the accident over the phone and be very careful on what is signed or said
to the insurance company... I would suggest for you to seek a lawyer on this
matter to be in the safe side....... GOOD LUCK......!!!!!!!!!!!

From the behavior of this person I would guess is that he is an independent claims adjustor or investigator hired by the insurance company. Glad your husband had the presence of mind to boot him out. Consult a lawyer - the initial interview/consultation is free.
